Wayfair to Add 500 Technologists to its Engineering Team in Berlin, Germany

Leader in Home to double the size of its engineering team in the heart of Germany’s capital city

Wayfair, one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home, today announced plans to hire an additional 500 technologists to join its world-class engineering organization in Berlin over the next three years.

Located in an iconic, newly renovated office building in Berlin’s Alexanderplatz, Wayfair’s European headquarters is currently home to team members from more than 80 different countries. Technologists joining the diverse team in Berlin will help drive a wide range of solutions, from cutting-edge machine learning and data science techniques that help customers find just the right product among more than one million items in Europe, to a proprietary end-to-end logistics network that is rapidly scaling fast and frictionless deliveries as well as a seamless shopping experience across Wayfair’s European markets.
